What an amazing year for Vestmark! Thus far, we have won the Best Retail Investment Platform in the Fintech awards, as well as the Number One Best Place to work in the large company category from the Boston Business Journal.

Now, our very own John Lunny, CEO of Vestmark, has been named the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in the New England Region in the Financial Services category. This award represents the drive, energy, passion, and commitment that we all share and that John demonstrates every day.

John is a Fintech pioneer. His entrepreneurial spirit, engineering ingenuity, and business acumen have enabled him to reimagine how modern financial service organizations deliver advice using technology. He constantly assesses the marketplace for strategic opportunities to drive innovation and growth. Through Vestmark’s 17 years as a company John has fostered our innovative and close-knit community. His vision and ability to execute it with a strong leadership team have been the foundation of Vestmark’s success.

John shared the following thoughts on the EY award: "Getting this far in the process is a reflection of the innovation Vestmark brings to financial technology and to the wealth management industry. While we have grown tremendously since Vestmark was established, we have never lost the spirit of innovation that we were founded upon.”

John now proceeds to the next step in the EY award process. He will now be competing to win the EY Entrepreneur of the Year in Financial Services for the US at the national EY event in Palm Springs, CA in November 2018. All the regional winners across the US will be there representing their regions in their respective categories. We wish John and Vestmark the best of luck!
