John Lunny co-founded Vestmark, Inc. in 2001, a wealth management technology firm that under John’s leadership and lasting vision has grown to serve some of the industry’s largest financial services firms and now supports over 4.5 million investor accounts and more than $1.4 trillion in assets.

In 2018, EY named John Entrepreneur of the Year®, Financial Services, recognizing his excellence in innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to the industry and his community. He was also named FinTech Person of the Year at the 2019 FTF News Technology Innovation Awards.

Prior to joining Vestmark, John helped launch a machine learning company, DataSage, which provided data analytics to e-commerce firms and which was later acquired by the Vignette Corporation where John ran the Boston development office.

Earlier in his career, John was an Internet software engineer having worked at firms like The Wollongong Group and the MIT Laboratory of Computer Science.

Founder / Chief Information Officer

Chuck Johnson founded Vestmark in February 2001. Prior to founding Vestmark, Chuck was the Principle Architect of the Personalization Products Division at Vignette Corporation (NASDAQ: VIGN) responsible for the architecture and design of all Personalization Products. Chuck joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage in January 2000. Chuck was a co-founder of DataSage and served as the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect responsible for all product design and development.

Prior to joining DataSage, Chuck had more than 15 years of experience with the U.S. Department of Defense developing real-time distributed systems.

Chuck holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and both a BS and MS of Engineering from Virginia Tech, where he studied Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, and Digital System Design.

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Donohue joined Vestmark in August 2018 as Chief Financial Officer, responsible for overseeing Financial Planning, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Investor Relations.

Prior to Vestmark, Mark served nearly three years at Rapid7, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider, in numerous executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Treasury & Investor Relations. He led the company through a strategic acquisition and helped stimulate the company to new business growth and stock appreciation. Before this, Mark held multiple Director-level positions at Cisco Systems and Starent Networks, navigating those companies through significant business transformations in the wake of shifting market dynamics in the mobile telecommunications industry.

He also worked at IDC, a technology research firm, and Ferris Baker Watts, a full-service investment bank, which was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2009. Mark held Series 7, 86, and 87 licenses and published sell-side research on numerous companies in the technology sector.

Mark began his career at Teradyne and Quantum, where he held financial management roles in both the Accounting and Corporate Finance groups.

Mark holds a BS in Business Administration & Finance from the University of New Hampshire, and received both his MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.

Chief People Officer

Nick Thurlow joined Vestmark in April 2019 as Chief People Officer, responsible for human resources strategy and services, including nurturing and strengthening Vestmark’s culture in support of its business objectives. He leads all talent management, employee engagement, compensation, benefits and organizational development programs to uphold the company’s reputation as a best place to work.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Nick spent 5 years at InterGen, a global energy company, as Vice President of Human Resources and Public Affairs overseeing human resources strategy and services, including leadership and organizational development, talent management, employee engagement, workforce planning, HR information systems, and total rewards, as well as internal and external communications.

Before joining InterGen, Nick was Vice President of Human Resources at Comverse, Inc. in roles of increasing responsibility for over 15 years. He was the leader for talent management, talent acquisition and global shared services while serving as an executive human resources business partner.

Previously, Nick held various roles managing Human Resources for Boston Technology and Cabletron Systems.

Nick holds a BA in Management, Economics and Sociology from Hartwick College, and received his MBA from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.

Chief Technology Officer

Michael Blundin joined Vestmark in July 2004 and is the firm’s Chief Technology Officer, responsible for the firm’s technology strategy and roadmap and for leading Vestmark’s software engineering, QA and product management teams. Previously, he led Client Delivery and was charged with delivering superior service and support to ensure client satisfaction, which included oversight of the relationship management, project management, implementation, and customer engineering teams.

Before joining Vestmark, Michael was Vice President of Products at Savantis Systems, an industry pioneer in Server Virtualization technology. There, he led product management and market development for the industry's first database server virtualization product.

Prior to joining Savantis, Michael was Director of Product Management at Vignette Corporation. Here, he and his team of product managers led the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Vignette's acquired products and technologies. Michael joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage where he was a co-founder and Director of Marketing, responsible for all market development and product management activities.

Earlier in his career, Michael was the Vice President of Marketing for Cirrus Recognition Systems, a Data Mining software company, which he co-founded in 1991.

Michael holds a BA in Physical Sciences from Colgate University, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Japanese.

Executive Vice President / Client Operations

Annmarie Rogers joined Vestmark in January 2004. She oversees product and technical support, client operations, training, and outsourced services. She has over 20 years of experience in investment systems development, implementations, and support.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Annmarie was a Managing Consultant at Venture Financial Systems Group, Ltd., a boutique consulting firm, specifically focused on delivering business and technology solutions to the financial services industry.

Prior to Venture, Annmarie spent over 16 years at Thomson Financial where she served as Vice President and Director of Product Operations, responsible for design, development, and quality assurance of PORTIA, Oneva TradeEQ, and Oneva Perform.

Annmarie holds both a BA in Zoology and Classics, the latter with a concentration in Latin, from the University of Vermont.

Executive Vice President / VestmarkONE® Sales

Ananya Balaram joined Vestmark in 2008 and is responsible for sales of the firm’s enterprise product, VestmarkONE®. He was previously responsible for the Relationship Management and Client Solutions functions at Vestmark. His Vestmark journey began as a relationship manager working with Vestmark’s largest clients in a consultative fashion to understand their vision and deliver on their needs. His industry, client and product expertise, along with his penchant for creativity, have resulted in his progression to his current role.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Ananya was on the overlay management team at Morgan Stanley, responsible for one of the largest unified managed account products in the industry.

Ananya holds a B.A. from Oberlin College, where he played on the varsity tennis team and majored in Mathematics and Economics.

In his role as EVP, Strategy, Dan is responsible for developing and executing the corporate strategy and go to market planning for both the enterprise software and outsourcing businesses. He also currently manages the Marketing function. Dan joined Vestmark in 2018 as VP, Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations, and was responsible for driving the company’s long-range strategic planning, annual budgeting and forecasting.

Prior to joining Vestmark, Dan spent 8 years at Cisco Systems, where he held strategy and planning leadership roles at the Corporate level and in the company’s Cybersecurity, Service Provider and Mobile Infrastructure businesses. He led initiatives and partnered with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Engineering teams to drive strategy through product and market transitions, including partnership development, scaling operations and driving M&A opportunities. Dan began his career with EMC Corporation, where he held progressive roles in Finance, Investor Relations and Audit.

Dan holds a BS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from Boston University’s Graduate School of Management.

Senior Vice President / Client Delivery

Dennis Boudreau oversees Vestmark’s Client Delivery function, ensuring client satisfaction through building, testing, and deploying strategic technology solutions. His teams are responsible for client implementations, project management, and product adoption. He joined Vestmark in 2016 and was previously Group Vice President for Relationship Management, responsible for leading account management and building strategic client relationships.

For more than 20 years, Dennis has focused on client service and building client-centric cultures. Prior to joining Vestmark, Dennis spent 7 years as Director of Client Services for Broadridge Financial Services, where he managed a diverse team responsible for relationship management onboarding and implementation activities. Earlier, he held similar positions at Eagle Investment Systems and Sungard Securities Processing.

Dennis holds a BA in Management from the University of Massachusetts.

Barrett is one of the original founders of Adhesion Wealth and oversees strategic direction and long term growth plans for the organization.During his time at Adhesion, Barrett has overseen the firm’s Product, Relationship Management, Investment Consulting, Model Management and Portfolio Management groups. Prior to Adhesion, Barrett served as Senior Vice President of Product Management at Wachovia Securities and has held a number of senior-level strategic posts with Fidelity Investments and Broadridge.
