John Lunny Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Lunny joined Vestmark in April of 2002 as the Chief Operations Officer responsible for the operations of the company and the customer engineering organization. Mr. Lunny was named Chief Executive Officer of Vestmark in 2008.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Lunny was a Senior Director of Engineering at Vignette Corporation where he was responsible for Vignette's analysis, personalization, and wireless products. Mr. Lunny joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage, an eCRM software provider, in January of 2000. Mr. Lunny was a co-founder of DataSage and served as the Vice President of Engineering, responsible for all product design and development.
Prior to joining DataSage, Mr. Lunny had more than 10 years of TCP / IP research and development experience through his tenure at The Wollongong Group (acquired by Attachmate) where he was responsible for their network management products, the DOD where he implemented one of the first FDDI interconnects, and the MIT Laboratory of Computer Science where he helped develop the reference TCP / IP implementation (PCIP) for the Internet.
Michael Blundin EVP / Client Delivery
Mr. Blundin joined Vestmark in July of 2004 and oversees the relationship management, project management, and customer engineering teams. He is responsible for upholding superior service and support to ensure client satisfaction. His teams are responsible for implementation, product adoption, ongoing account management, and renewal sales.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Blundin was Vice President of Products at Savantis Systems, an industry pioneer in Server Virtualization technology. Mr. Blundin led product management and market development for the industry's first database server virtualization product.
Prior to joining Savantis, Mr. Blundin was Director of Product Management at Vignette Corporation. Here, he and his team of product managers led the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Vignette's acquired products and technologies. Mr. Blundin joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage where he was a co-founder and Director of Marketing, responsible for all market development and product management activities.
Previously Mr. Blundin was the Vice President of Marketing for Cirrus Recognition Systems, a Data Mining software company which he co-founded in 1991.
Mr. Blundin holds a BA in Physical Sciences from Colgate University, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, and Japanese.
Christine Bodoin Chief Administrative Officer
Ms. Bodoin has been with Vestmark since June of 2002 and is responsible for all aspects of administration.
Prior to joining the company, Ms. Bodoin served as Controller of Vividon Inc., a manufacturer of high performance streaming cache systems that deliver audio and video over the Internet. At Vividon she was responsible for all financial functions.
Previously, Ms. Bodoin was Regional Finance Director for Vignette Corporation. In January of 2000, Ms. Bodoin managed the acquisition of DataSage, where she worked as Controller and acting CFO, and Director of Human Resources.
Before entering the high tech industry, Ms. Bodoin was a Finance Manager in the Information Systems Department of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Ms. Bodoin earned a BS degree in Accounting and Human Resources Management from Boston College and an MBA with a concentration in International Business from Bentley College.
Mark Donohue Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Donohue joined Vestmark in August 2018 as Chief Financial Officer responsible for overseeing Financial Planning, Corporate Development, Accounting, and Investor Relations.
Prior to Vestmark, Mr. Donohue served nearly three years at Rapid7, a Software as a Service (SaaS) provider, in numerous executive roles including Vice President of Finance, Corporate Development, and Treasury & Investor Relations. He led the company through a strategic acquisition and ushered the company to new business growth and stock appreciation. Before this, Donohue held multiple Director-level positions at Cisco Systems and Starent Networks, navigating the companies through significant business transformations in the wake of shifting market dynamics in the mobile telecommunications industry.
He also worked at IDC, a technology research firm, and Ferris Baker Watts, a full-service investment bank, which was acquired by the Royal Bank of Canada in 2009. Mr. Donohue held Series 7, 86, and 87 licenses and published sell-side research on numerous companies in the technology sector.
Mr. Donohue began his career at Teradyne and Quantum, where he held financial management roles in both the Accounting and Corporate Finance groups.
Mr. Donohue holds a BS in Business Administration & Finance from the University of New Hampshire, and received both his MBA and MS in Finance from Boston College’s Wallace E. Carroll Graduate School of Management.
Peter Jantzen Executive Vice President of Sales
Mr. Jantzen joined Vestmark in February of 2009 as the Executive Vice President of Sales responsible for global sales, presales, and customer satisfaction. Mr. Jantzen has over 28 years experience in building world class sales teams and selling enterprise-scale, customer focused solutions to the financial services and other industry verticals.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Jantzen was Vice President of North American Sales at Intec, a global technology provider with over $250 million in annual revenues. During Mr. Jantzen's tenure at Intec and predecessor companies, he built and managed global sales teams, consistently exceeded his customers' expectations enabling dramatic revenue growth, and helped his company successfully navigate an IPO, secondary offering, and multiple mergers.
Mr. Jantzen received a Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Summa Cum Laude, is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and nominated for Fulbright, Marshall, and Rhodes Scholarships.
Chuck Johnson Founder, Chief Information Officer
Mr.Johnson founded Vestmark in February of 2001. Prior to founding Vestmark, Mr.Johnson was the Principle Architect of the Personalization Products Division at Vignette Corporation (NASDAQ: VIGN) responsible for the architecture and design of all Personalization Products. Mr. Johnson joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage in January 2000. Mr. Johnson was a co-founder of DataSage and served as the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect responsible for all product design and development.
Prior to joining DataSage, Mr. Johnson had more than 15 years of experience with the DOD developing real-time distributed systems.
Mr. Johnson holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and both a BS and MS of Engineering from Virginia Tech where he studied Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, and Digital System Design.
Rob Klapprodt President
Mr. Klapprodt joined Vestmark in 2001 as VP of Products and is now President of the firm.
Prior to Vestmark, Mr. Klapprodt was a Senior Product Manager at Vignette Corporation (NASDAQ: VIGN) for the company’s data analytics and content personalization solutions. In this pivotal, cross-functional position, he defined and shaped the market strategy for the product line. He joined Vignette through their acquisition of DataSage, a data mining and CRM software provider, in January of 2000. At DataSage, Mr. Klapprodt held positions in sales, consulting, and product management. Here, his experience and expertise were integrated into the design and development of DataSage's flagship solution.
Mr. Klapprodt worked at Oracle Corporation before joining DataSage, where he focused on Oracle's data warehousing and business intelligence solutions for large enterprises.
Mr. Klapprodt holds a BS from Pennsylvania State University where he studied Economics and Mathematics.
Lonnie Macdonald Chief Marketing Officer
Mr. Macdonald joined Vestmark in 2017 as Chief Marketing Officer to define and oversee Vestmark’s marketing and brand strategy and contribute to driving revenue across the company’s solutions and services.
Macdonald brings a wealth of experience to Vestmark. In previous roles running sales and marketing for firms such as Foreside Financial, Beacon Hill Fund Services, UMB Fund Services, and GCom Solutions, he spearheaded efforts to define each firm’s brand strategy and aligned marketing and sales resources to generate growth. In addition, Macdonald has played a pivotal role in developing and executing M&A strategy and corporate expansion efforts.
Heeren Pathak Chief Technology Officer
Heeren Pathak, Chief Technology Officer, leads Vestmark’s long term technology vision. An award winning technology veteran with expertise in user experience, data analytics, web services, and information security, Mr. Pathak designs the roadmap for the VestmarkONE platform, leads Vestmark’s QA and product management team, and works closely with clients and industry partners to deliver innovative solutions to the market. Mr. Pathak was named “Advisory Solutions All-Star Achiever” by the Money Management Institute (MMI) for the contributions he has made in the advancement of fee-based advisory solutions and leads Vestmark’s intellectual property strategy, procuring numerous patents and trademarks for the VestmarkONE platform. His passion and vision for enabling holistic advice is at the heart of the VestmarkONE platform, now an integral operational component at over 40 investment management firms.
Prior to Vestmark, Mr. Pathak was the Senior Director of Engineering at Vignette Corporation. Here, he led the development effort of real-time content personalization, content usage analysis, and content usage reporting, integrating these components to enhance Vignette's core content management offering. Prior to Vignette, Mr. Pathak held various management and technical positions at Simulation Sciences Corp., Workgroup Technology Corporation, and MITRE Corporation.
Mr. Pathak holds a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign and a MS in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
Annmarie Rogers EVP / Client Operations
Ms. Rogers joined Vestmark in January of 2004. She oversees product and technical support, night operations, training, and BPO. She has over 20 years of experience in investment systems development, implementations, and support.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Ms. Rogers was a Managing Consultant at Venture Financial Systems Group, Ltd., a boutique consulting firm, specifically focused on delivering business and technology solutions to the financial services industry.
Prior to Venture, Ms. Rogers spent over 16 years at Thomson Financial where she served as Vice President and Director of Product Operations, responsible for design, development, and quality assurance of PORTIA, Oneva TradeEQ, and Oneva Perform.
Ms. Rogers holds both a BA in Zoology and Classics, the latter with a concentration in Latin, from the University of Vermont.
Dennis L. Sheckler, CIPM Chief Technologist, Investment Systems
Mr. Sheckler is one of the world's leading experts in Portfolio Management, Accounting, and Corporate Actions technology. He has over 35 years of experience in investment software systems design. Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Sheckler served as the Lead Architect for Advent Custodial Data and Advent TrustedNetwork® products at Advent Software, Inc.
Prior to Advent, Mr. Sheckler spent over 12 years at Thomson Financial where he served as a Lead Architect and Chief Programmer on the PORTIA Portfolio Management product and as a Technical Adviser to Thomson Trading Systems for Oneva Trade EQ, Autex, TradeRoute, Oasys, Oasys Global and Alert.
While a member of the Administrative Staff at MIT, Mr. Sheckler participated in the development of RDMS, one of the first relational database management systems.
Mr. Sheckler holds both a BS in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. In January of 2007, Mr. Sheckler earned the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) designation from the CFA Institute.
Mark Peabody SVP / Product Management
Mr. Peabody joined Vestmark through the July, 2004 acquisition of LifeHarbor, a pioneer in Portfolio Manufacturing solutions. Mr. Peabody was co-founder of LifeHarbor and served as Vice President of Product and Technology responsible for all product design and development.
Prior to LifeHarbor, Mr. Peabody was a Director and Senior Architect in the Money Management and Trading practice of Cambridge Technology Partners where he led the design and development of custom equity and currency trading systems for large investment management and brokerage firms.
Mr. Peabody holds a BS in Physics from Bates College and an MSE in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Steven Camp SVP / Business Process Outsourcing
Mr. Camp joined Vestmark in 2013 and is responsible for directing the convergence of financial service providers to Vestmark BPO, developing the staff and facilities for the BPO unit, and creating and implementing the strategic development of Vestmark‘s BPO division. Mr. Camp has over 25 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Camp held Senior Product Manager positions at both UMB and JP Morgan, directing the outsourcing businesses.
Previously, Mr. Camp was Managing Director of the Managed Accounts division at Victory Capitol / Key Bank and founder of ASI consulting, a boutique technology firm providing business and technology service to asset managers.
Mr. Camp holds a BA from Rutgers University, where he studied Economics and Computer Science.
Ed Friedlander SVP / Business Development
Mr. Friedlander joined Vestmark in 2005 and is responsible for business development across Vestmark’s target markets, including broker-dealers, banks, asset managers, and registered investment advisors. Mr. Friedlander’s tenure, deep product and industry knowledge, and consultative approach make him well suited to help existing clients and prospects achieve their business objectives and best leverage Vestmark’s broad suite of technology and services.
Prior to joining Vestmark, Mr. Friedlander was Corporate Sales Director for Newmarket International, a leading global technology provider in the hotel and hospitality industry, where he was responsible for business development and ongoing relationship management with the world’s largest hotel firms.
Mr. Friedlander holds a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Vince Pellegrini SVP / Client Experience
Pellegrini brings over 20 years of wealth management experience in senior leadership roles across technology, marketing, and product management. Most recently, as Principal of Advanced Objects, Inc., Pellegrini’s spearheaded the development of innovative enterprise and mobile solutions for asset managers, broker-dealers, RIAs, TAMPs and insurance providers. Advanced Objects software and IP was acquired by Vestmark in July 2015.
Prior to Advanced Objects, Mr. Pellegrini was Chief Marketing Officer of Calamos Investments (NASDAQ: CLMS). Before Calamos, he was Head of Marketing and Customer Technology at Nuveen Investments. At both global investment firms, Pellegrini and his teams defined and executed the online and offline marketing mix for retail investors, institutional investors, and hundreds of thousands of advisors across multiple channels, segments, platforms and products.
David Littleton Managing Director / Vestmark Advisory Solutions
David Littleton, a founding principal of the Vestmark Manager Marketplace, formerly served as the Chief Financial Officer of Fortigent, an investment research and technology firm servicing financial advisory practices throughout the United States.
Mr. Littleton served as Fortigent’s Chief Financial Officer through a period of sustained growth with multiple capital-raising events, culminating in the sale of Fortigent in 2012 to LPL Investment Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: LPLA). He also managed Fortigent’s cutting-edge performance reporting operations for its Unified Managed Account platform.
Prior to his role at Fortigent/LPL Financial, Mr. Littleton served as the Chief Operating Officer of Nylon Capital LLP, a UK-based fund manager backed by Barclays Bank PLC. He also was a senior executive of a technology start-up venture acquired in 2004 by Cendant Corporation. Mr. Littleton practiced law from 1993 to 1999 with the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. offices of Hogan & Hartson LLP (now Hogan Lovells), and accounting from 1986 to 1990 with Ernst & Young LLP.
Mr. Littleton earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, a Master of Sciences degree from Georgetown University, and a Juris Doctor (with Honors) from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and a member of the state bars of California, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
Alexander Morris Managing Director / Vestmark Advisory Solutions
Alexander Morris, a founding principal of Vestmark Manager Marketplace, formerly served as VP of Strategy and Platforms for Fortigent, an investment research and technology firm servicing financial advisory practices. In this pivotal role, Mr. Morris incepted, built, and ran Fortigent’s wealth management platform, the first of its kind to distinctly service the needs of high net worth advisors and their clients. His vision for better servicing these advisors redefined Fortigent’s growth. In 2012, Fortigent was acquired by LPL Financial Holdings (NASDAQ:LPLA) and he continued in this role.
Prior to his role at Fortigent/LPL Financial, Mr. Morris served in a number of strategic roles within leading financial services firms globally. He earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Cornell University.
