VAST’s investment platform comprises tools to address diverse client goals. You’ll have access to an extensive array of index-based and actively managed SMAs, ETFs, mutual funds and individual securities. Portfolios created and managed on the platform can range from a single index portfolio, to a core-satellite strategy, to a multi-asset approach that complements the client’s other accounts.
The VAST team will review the portfolio and run it through our optimization process. Then you’ll receive a PDF proposal with three transition scenarios to consider, ranging in their approach to risk and return.
Once you have implemented your client’s Personalized Portfolio, the VAST investment team ensures that the portfolio reflects your directives, continuously balancing the tradeoff between targeting the benchmark and minimizing tax impacts. VAST also enables you to connect quickly and seamlessly to all major custodians.
Need to transition a client from an existing portfolio or looking for enhanced tax management services?
Implement personalized tax management strategies, accommodate unique objectives and apply client-driven security screens and exclusions.
Gain more time to deepen client relationships, sharpen your competitive edge and grow your business.
VAST Portfolios typically invest directly in an optimized subset of securities that seeks to track the performance of the designated index by attempting to mimic the characteristics of the designated index, such as the designated index’s exposure and risk characteristics. VAST Portfolios invest both in securities included in the designated index and securities that are not included in the designated index. The performance of a VAST Portfolio will not be the same as the selected index for a number of reasons; indices typically have far more positions than a VAST Portfolio, which can mean lower volatility, and indices do not have contributions and withdrawals. Indices are unmanaged and it is not possible to invest directly in an index. Financial advisors and financial intermediaries may impose reasonable restrictions on the management of investor account(s) subject to approval by VAS.
